Let God Do It His Way
by Kenneth Copeland
"Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean. But Naaman was angry" (2 Kings 5:10-11 AMP).
Change Your Routine
Kenneth Copeland
"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them [the Words of God] not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.... Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life" (Prov. 4:20-21, 23).
So many people walk around saying things like, "Well, I'm just so tired...I'm so weak...Things are looking so bad." Then suddenly, they think they're going to jerk their faith out from under the table and raise the dead with it.
Head for the Light
Kenneth Copeland
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.
– 2 Peter 1:19
The Father's Heart
Written by Kenneth Copeland
"But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him" (Luke 15:20).
How much love do you have for sinners?
That may sound like a strange question, but it's one I want you to think about today. All too often, once we get saved and get our lives cleaned up a little bit, we lose our compassion for those who are still lost. We look at the drunk stumbling down the street or the guy at the office who lies to the boss and tells dirty jokes and turn up our spiritual noses.
Rain is on the Way
Kenneth Copeland
"And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil" (Deut. 11:13-14).
God Himself says He is coming to us as rain (Hosea 6:3). Not just as rain, but specifically as the former and the latter rain.
Don't Look at the Storm
Kenneth Copeland
"But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" (Matt. 14:30-31).
Play to Win
Kenneth Copeland
Who is he that over cometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
– 1 John 5:5
I've often heard people say, "It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." That's nonsense. If you play the game right, you'll win!
Any coach will tell you that part of playing the game right is having a winning attitude. That's what God wants us, as believers, to have. He wants us to have so much faith in Him that we expect to whip any obstacle the devil brings our way. He wants us to expect to win at the game of life.
Seek the Knowledge of His Glory
by Kenneth Copeland
"Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain" (James 5:7).
My friend, it is time for the Glory. We've reached the last of the last days. We've come to the time about which Zechariah prophesied: "Ask of the Lord rain in the time of the latter or spring rain. It is the Lord Who makes lightnings, which usher in the rain and give men showers of it, to every one grass in the field" (Zech. 10:1, AMP).
Unity of Faith
Kenneth Copeland
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:11-13).
The Choice Is Yours
Kenneth Copeland
Choose you this day whom ye will serve.
– Joshua 24:15
Choosing to side with God's Word is a continual challenge. It's not some- thing you do just once. It's a process of choosing to believe and act upon the Word of God over and over in every circumstance.
