What Are You Thinking?

by Joyce Meyer

Did you know you can be free from negative thinking? The first step to your freedom is facing the truth and saying, "I'm a negative person and I want to change." If you really want to, you can overcome it because according to the Bible, you're a new person in Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Your next step is to find out what may be blocking any positive progress.

Identify Your Obstacles

Unity of Faith

Kenneth Copeland

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:11-13).

The Choice Is Yours

Kenneth Copeland

Choose you this day whom ye will serve.
– Joshua 24:15

Choosing to side with God's Word is a continual challenge. It's not some- thing you do just once. It's a process of choosing to believe and act upon the Word of God over and over in every circumstance.

The Presence of God May Not Heal You

Kenneth E. Hagin

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
(Matt. 9:27)
If you stopped reading this story at verse 27, you could hold up the two blind men as a perfect example of people who prayed but did not receive an answer.

And verse 28 says, "And when he [Jesus] was come into the house, the blind men came to him...." Even though the blind men were in the Presence of Jesus, they were still blind. That illustrates this fact: Merely coming into the Presence of God will not save or heal you.

Protected by Integrity

Bishop Keith A. Butler

But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? Said he not unto me, She [is] my sister? and she, even she herself said, He [is] my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

Genesis 20:4-6

Guidance by Angels

Kenneth E. Hagin

"Are they [angels] not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Heb. 1:14)

Even as Jesus talked with me, I would glance at the angel. When I did, I could see he would start to say something.

Jesus said, "He's got a message for you."

I said to Jesus, "You're talking to me. Why don't You give me the message? Besides, the Word says, 'As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.' I've got the Holy Ghost; why couldn't He talk to me?"

The Greatest Quest

Gloria Copeland

"Love never fails" (1 Cor. 13:8).

What is the number one goal in your life? What are the things you're aiming to accomplish, the dreams you want to achieve?

If you're a businessperson, you may be pursuing the goal of building a business so successful, you can pour millions of dollars into the work of God. If you're called to the ministry, you may be dreaming of preaching the gospel around the world.

Joy in His Presence

Bishop Keith A. Butler

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

Self-Medicate Through the Power of Laughter and Joy

Bishop Keith A. Butler

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22

The Word talks about reverential worship, and the same Word also talks about the joy and happiness of the worship of God. Both are required, and I've seen both waves of reverence and waves of laughter come on congregations by the Holy Ghost. Both are manifested because God is love, God is peace, God is light, and God is joy. He wants you to have joy.
